Janie is licensed in property and casualty. She started in the insurance industry in 1991 and has experience in commercial, personal, bonds and more. She joined Katy Insurance Agency in June, 2010 as a personal and commercial CSR. She is looking forward to growing as an agent, working towards her TIIA designation and eventually towards her CIC designation.  Outside of work she enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, fishing and curling up with a good book. Her favorite hobby is crocheting, sewing & photography.

She is slowly learning to play the game of golf which she enjoys doing with her husband, James. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, her 3 grandchildren, their family dog, Chico, their pet turtle, Cheech and 1 gold fish, The Lone Ranger. Throughout the years she has loved to volunteer her time in many ways, but; none more so than working with the school district where her daughter goes to school.
